I fully endorsed the vote of LGM for term 2003/2004 to DTM PATRICK OEI FOR
the reasons below:

FOR 2 good reasons which are crucial & RELEVANT TO LGM post.
Apart from having the right vision to foster self actualisation & life-long
learning of clubs in his own words he is always there for toastmasters to render his dedicated services.

His recognitions inside toastmasters arena are direct unequal services
rendered & he is an adept & instrumental in chartering & sponsoring new clubs.having a strategy to be a pro-active LGM WHO WILL assist clubs & members to give off their best is admirable & challenging. Ii augers well for TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL MISSION & PROGRESS.

PATRICK OEI is a fine example of a refined toastmaster who able to fit into
the description of an accomplished toastmaster, knowing all the ropes of the trade & his sense of confidence is a role model to emulate. He is in a favourable position to balance the task of relaxing audience with his fair share of training & clever exploitation of humour. His ad-libbing is impromptu & a source of inspiration. THIS CANDIDATE can display leadership qualities in the field of communications. In the past years of involving in toastmasters PATRICK has bridged his gaps on small weaknesses & close rank with his critics.

He has emerged & evolved his popularity timely for his voting as LGM

NOW FOR THE EXTRA-ORDINARY REASOND FOR HIM TO BE VOTED AS LGM QUALTIES THAT FAR EXCEEDED OTHERS. PATRICK HAS DISPLAYED

MUCH PERSEVERANCE TO DISCHARGE HIS DUTIES AS ADVISORS IN TOASTMASTERS ALTHOUGH HE HAS FAILED 2 ATTEMPTS TO SECURE AMBITIOUS ROLES. HE CARRIED ON DILIGENTLY & NEVER FAIL TO RENDER HIS MUCH SOUGHT EXPERTISE & DEDICATION.

THIS IS REALLY VERY CRUCIAL TO TOASTMASTERS. IN SHORT PATRICK HAS BEEN TIME TESTED SECONDLY UNLIKE OTHER CONTESTANTS WHO PROFESS ENTERING BALLOT JUST FOR FUN. PATRICK UNDERTAKING IS CLEAR CUT. HE WANTS TO SERVE & RELENTLESSLY HE PURSUE &
PRESEVERE.

I am not surprised that he shall be the next LGM.

Patrick is passionate about the The Toastmasters Movement.  Patrick has over the years shown commitment and dedication to the Toastmasts Movement.  His own actions and achievements in the Toastmasters Movement speak louder than anything we can express in words.
 
District 51 needs an outstanding Leader to serve us as Lieutenant Governor Marketing (LGM) to help bring District 51 to greater heights.  Such an outstanding Leader is DTM Patrick Oei.

Dear Patrick,

You have greatly impressed me with your sincerity to share besides providing advice and guidance to me.
Each time when i needed help and as at the very  last hour , you are always there to give and support me and the club.

Most important of all, you gave and continue to give me the opportunity to excel in some areas. Your words of encouragement and motivation give me the PASSION , NOT ONLY TO DRIVE  BUT TO LEARN HOW TO LEAD WITH COMPASSION AND to move on and take the challenges. Every meeting  with you is a learning experience and I have benefited in one way or another.

I am sure that your persistence and perseverance will be rewarded in no time.

Leadership calls for willingness in sacrificing, ability to lead with compassion. One must have impartial & positive attitude in order to show compassion  and sincerity in the willingness to give whole heartedly without asking in return. One must be strong in mind and body.
