District Officers, We are now closed to all submissions to the District 80 Directory and have started preparing for printing. We have had to do this, one month late, if we are to produce the directory before the end on September, 2004. For those clubs who for one reason or another could not get us their club Officers list on time, we are sorry as their club will be without officers names and details. My Secretariat would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have in one way or another helped us on this tremendously taxing job. We would also like to apologize to you if we had in some way offended you or were unable to accommodate you, I can personally assure you that it was not our intention to do so but would have been at fault if we had over looked it. Please accept our sincere apologies. The District 80 Directory will not be perfect as we realize that we cannot please every one of you who would have liked it in a different way, format, data or user friendly. We have tried our best to be accommodating and at the same time to be time conscious and generous with information. For us, it has been a first time learning experience and our efforts were only mobilized after the Penang Convention after we knew who our District Officers were for the new term. We have spent many hours as a team, preparing this directory, of course we could have done it more efficiently and productively. We have learnt our lesson and know better now. We hope that you will find this directory useful and handy. Once it has been printed, we will make the necessary arrangements to get it to you and your clubs. Thank you and Best Regards, Michael J.
