Each year District 80 will be electing a new candidate for the LT Governor(Marketing). Without exception, this year annual covention in Singapore,we will be electing our future leader for District 80 of Toastmasters International. To choose an ordinary leader is easy but to choose a good, capable and committed leader is difficult.
DTM Susan Wong is taking the challenge this year to contest the LT Governor(Marketing) for the year 2006/07. She is offering her experinece, expertise and excitment to contribute to the well being of District 80. Her past nine years of achievements in the Toastmasters Movement speaks volume for her dedication, committments and loyalty to the Toastmasters Organisation at large.
I have no doubt that Susan Wong is able to discharge her duties wholeheartedly with decidication and decisiveness if elected as our LT Governor (Marketing).
Having work with Susan Wong ( a Chartered Member ) in Leng Kee Mandarin Toastmasters Club, I found her full of enthusiasm and a responsible leader in her own right. She is not only the current District Secretary but she also extended her involvement in other community services in the Rotary Club's Movement. She is bi-lingual in both English and Mandarin , an asset in our organisation.
To be a Good Leader , one must possess the following qualites in the Toastmasters Movement such as
1)
Integrity- a Virtue that must not be ignored.
much as they can. for others to emulate and last but not least Service before Self.
DTM Susan Wong is the right choice at the right time and the right place as she fits in the above qualities of a Good Leader.
I have every confidence that given a chance to Susan Wong , she will be able to assume the leadership in our District 80.
Vote Wisely, Vote for her, Vote for DTM Susan Wong as our Lieutenant Governor -Marketing ( 2006-2007)

I am glad that SUSAN WONG is
taking this challenge be the LGM for marketing (2006-2007). All these
years of commitment and dedications in Toastmasters say it all in the
accolades you have been bestowed with. I felt incompetent but encouraged
and motivated.
A woman who manages a
business and family life with two grown-up boys, could achieve so much
in nine years of Toastmasters journey, is a feat not many of us can
match.
I believe SUSAN WONG is not only
very popular and well recognised in Toastmasters, she is also well
recognised in community and social work. I was indeed surprised that she
was a winner in beauty pageants too which makes Toastmaster's friends
proud!
SUSAN WONG has already shown
yourself that she is a woman of substance, a woman of courage; courage
to make a choice in setting her vision, courage to make a stand, by
taking this challenge to be our next LGM while others may be contented
with just being a President of a club and finally courage to be
different, after knowing her for so long, I believe her appointment as
our next LGM, will definitely see a different impact which we will
always remember.
I wish her all the best.
Dear Susan, you can count on my vote for you are a one true Toastmaster who has already inspired so many. I am one of them.

Since knowing DTM Susan WONG and ever since I joined the Toastmasters'
movement,
I must say I find her
very enthusiastic and full of passion in her own way.
She is not only
delicated and responsible, she also involved herself in most of the
activities . She
is bi-lingual in both English and Mandarin which is an asset to the
Toastmaster's
Organisation. To be a Good Leader, one has meet the following criteria : a. Commitment b. Integrity c. Responsbility These 3 criterias are a must if you want to be a Leader. Leardership is all about servantship. How to serve others as well as serving the entire organstion with commitment, integrity and be responsible for what we say, do and honour.
Please vote wisely and I fully endorse that DTM Susan Wong is the candidate.

The first time I saw SUSAN
WONG in action at NTUC Income during an area contest, she was so
dynamic, energetic & vibrant with her contagious smile. I count by
blessings getting to know her. Whenever and wherever there was a
workshop or club meeting which I attended she was also present. I could
sense that in every cell in her body is to do something for
Toastmasters.

She is a great speaker and a responsible Officer, who is always willing to help when someone needs. She will sure be well-suited for LGM position.

**************************************************************************************** It gives me great pleasure to be given an opportunity to testify in writing the following :
When I first met Susan Wong as the sponsor for our club (RT TMC) 2 1/2 years' ago, she projected herself with poise, charm & confidence & as we interacted, my impression & understanding thru her of Toastmasters movement was indeed, enhanced.
Through Susan, we believe most fellow TMs including myself have witnessed the passion, spirit & grit plus with her high energy level, she seems to be appearing regularly at almost every event in Districtry 80!
In working with Div D organising committee for Div D 10th anniversary magazine as Advertising Chair during the period Aug - Sept 2005, I have also seen thru pictures & memories gathered that Susan had contributed much in the past to Div D & if only we had been in Toastmasters earlier to get to know more of her & to learn from her.
Susan is a fine candidate for the position of LGM in the new term (2006 - 2007) & on behalf of Raffles Town TMC, we support & give her our vote wholeheartedly !
Lynda Neo, CL
IPP - RT TMC (2005 - 2006) **************************************************************************************** Susan is a person I greatly admire. Admire for her courage to take on challenges. Admire for her willingness to accept commitment. Admire for her enthusiasm to get the job well done.
I knew her since 2002 when she was the Division D Governor. She was the mentor for the newly born Money Mastery Singapore Toastmasters Club. She never fails to provide us guidance and support.
I worked with her in the EXCO of the Association of Singapore Professional Speakers. She was the VP for Public Relation and later VP for membership. She never fails to actively promote the club and tirelessly recruit new members.
Susan will never fail you.
regards, Sam Chee Yee, CL VPM, Money Mastery Singapore Toastmasters Club 2002-2004 VPE, Association of Singapore Professional Speakers
**************************************************************************************** Susan is a likeable person and there is no reason not to endorse her for the post.
Of course, I have to examine her credential before supporting her. I am looking at PAP of the Candidate. PAP represents Performance and Personality.
Performance - her past records speak out loud and clear. She is always at the front line of activities. She takes the command and sets example. She has achieved much for the Toastmasters movement.
Personality - her sweet smile, her pleasant disposition, and her soft gentle persuasion; all these speak much of Susan. She performs well because of her personality. Her personality reinforces her performance. A Good Leader has proven track record of PAP and Susan is qualified to be one.
I
endorse Susan for the post. Regards Ernest Chen, DTM Division S Governor (1998-99) Division Governor of the Year (1998-99)
**************************************************************************************** I have known Susan Wong since year 2000 even before I became a Toastmaster. On several occasions when I attended the Area and Division Contests as a guest of Albert Lim DTM, I had observed her on stage where she conducted her appointments very professionally as Contest Chair, Contest TME, and also in her capacity as Area Governor and Division Governor respectively. Her professionalism is the hallmark of her personality in every sense of the word.
Later when I joined the Toastmaster Club I had the opportunity to meet her in person, I found her to be friendly, helpful and approachable. She visited our Club at Toa Payoh Central several times during our Area Contest and on one Achievers’ Day, where her warm friendship had left memorable experience to some of our club members. She is an outstanding toastmaster in her own merits and would stand up to support her points when the proposal is beneficial to the toastmaster movement.
I have confidence that she will be an asset to the District if she is given an opportunity to be the LGM. I support her candidature as LGM for the coming term 2006-2007.
