They came in the pouring rain, some soaked completely to

the skin. Others were clutching the morning's newspapers, which

were dripping with water, unable to protect the determined

Toastmasters who held them over their heads ... .

They were such an inspiration ... to me and to the organising

committee of the 26 Feb: Acing Your Manual Speeches Workshop!!

The 26 Feb event has now joined the list of other great workshops

organised under the District 80 Education & Training portolio.

We thank Denise Bertrand who did a wonderful, mesmerising

performance showing us all the simple yet effective techniques

of story-telling. We are grateful to the presenters, TMDs,

and the Organising Committee. And we owe deep gratitude

to the marvellous team at AIA Changi, led by Fernando and

Fabian.

So ... united, we can do a tremendous amount.

Together let's help each other achieve.
